Our venue: a peaceful and natural environment
Michael Hall Steiner Waldorf School is a warm, friendly and welcoming venue set in 60 acres of parkland nestled on the edge of the Ashdown Forest in Forest Row, East Sussex.
Landscaped grounds by Repton make for an idyllic camping site next to Kidbrooke Mansion. Yoga classes will take place in the light and beautiful Georgian Mansion building and in the modern school gym which is built using plenty of natural wood. Other school buildings and facilities will also be available to Yogapushpanjali participants.
The school has a biodynamic garden and two biodynamic farms are in the vicinity, one within walking distance of the school. Sussex is a popular UK holiday destination; the Ashdown Forest offers plenty of beautiful walks and was the inspiration for AA Milne’s “Winnie the Pooh” – you can visit Pooh Bridge not far away in Hartfield. The Bluebell Heritage Steam Railway is a short drive away and the south coast is only 45 minutes away by car, offering beautiful beaches such as Cuckmere Haven or Pevensey Bay, and the towns of Lewes and Brighton.
